There are lots of creative people in this little community of TaleSpin fans who capture the beauty of these characters and how they interact with each other. Two of which I'm particularly fond are Daring Dan Green and Elysabeth.
They each have their own story of Kit Cloudkicker's first Christmas since arriving in Cape Suzette and on this Christmas Eve, I wanted to share both of them with anyone who may not be familiar with them already. They can be found on Gregory Weagle's Unofficial Kit Cloudkicker Homepage.
Elysabeth, with "A TaleSpin Christmas Story: Christmas Eve", asks one simple question: "What do you give somebody who has given you so much?" Kit tries to find an answer as he tries to find the perfect Christmas present for Baloo; who has since adopted the bear cub as his son. Here's a link for Elysabeth's story:
Daring Dan Green has written several stories featuring Kit Cloudkicker and his TaleSpin family-to-be. In "Dream a Little Dream of Christmas", Green teams up with another fan-fiction writer, Kristof, to tell a beautiful story about a father and son understanding each other better through the kind of music they enjoy. You'll probably remember Baloo's perennial favourite "I Got Them Flat Broke Sticky Shoes No Banana Boogie Woogie Blues". Kit's gotten into music, himself, with the jazz artistry of a trumpet player named Dexter Bearsfield. It all started with a night at a jazz club on Christmas Eve...well, actually, it all starts with a TaleSpin-ese take on "The Night Before Christmas"!
I hope this Holiday Season finds you surrounded with joy, love, peace...and all that jazz!
